18 Killed and Dozens Injured in Israeli Airstrikes Across Gaza Strip

GAZA CITY: In a series of Israeli airstrikes conducted today, 18 Palestinians were killed, and several others sustained injuries across various locations in the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and Khan Younis.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, local sources reported that eight people were killed and several others wounded when Israeli occupation forces bombarded the vicinity of the Al-Ayoun intersection. In another incident, four more civilians were killed, and others injured in strikes near the Al-Lababidi intersection in the western part of Gaza City. The airstrikes further extended to Khan Younis, where six individuals were killed, and others were injured when a building in the city center was hit.

In a separate attack, three Palestinians, including a woman, were injured when an Israeli drone dropped an explosive device in the courtyard of a school sheltering displaced individuals in the Al-Mukhayyam Al-Jadid area northwest of Nuseirat in central Gaza. Israeli artillery also targeted areas near the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza.

Medical sources have confirmed that a total of 52 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across various regions of Gaza since the early hours of today. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which began in October 2023, has resulted in at least 45,581 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 108,438 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, Israel’s attacks continue unabated.
