Beirut: The 22nd edition of the ‘Science Fair 2025’ was launched at 10:00 am at the Faculty of Science, Rafic Hariri University Campus – Lebanese University in Hadath. This event features youth projects focusing on science, technology, and innovation, highlighting the talents and creativity of young minds in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, at 11:00 am, MPs Farid Al-Boustani from the Economy Committee and Sajih Attieh from the Public Works Committee paid a visit to the Directorate of Traffic Management in Dekwaneh. Simultaneously, a meeting of the subcommittee from the Education and Culture Committee was held, chaired by MP Halima Kaakour, in the education committee hall on the first floor.
In another significant event of the day, a press conference was held by the National Campaign to Return Syrian Refugees at 12:30 pm at Bayt Al-Amel – Jal El Dib. The conference was titled ‘Let’s Hear the Voices of Victims Slaughtered Twice,’ drawing attention to the pressing issue of Syrian refugees.
At 1:00 pm, Speaker Nabih Berri convened a meeting of Parliament’s Bureau, addressing key issues facing the government and legislative body.
Later in the evening, at 6:00 pm, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik hosted a tribute to former Minister Edmond Rizk, who generously donated his personal archive to the university library, marking a significant contribution to educational resources.
Concluding the day’s events, a dialogue session with journalist and economist Mohammad Zbib was organized by the Union of Lebanese Democratic Youth at 7:30 pm. The session, titled ‘Post-War Economy,’ took place at the union’s center in Mar Elias, Beirut, offering insights into the economic challenges and opportunities in the post-war era.
