Baabda: MP Adib Abdel Massih on Tuesday voiced full support from Baabda for President Joseph Aoun's recent remarks, describing them as a clear roadmap for the current phase. The lawmaker emphasized the importance of aligning with the president's vision to navigate the pressing challenges faced by the nation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Abdel Massih highlighted that discussions with Aoun encompassed critical issues such as the economy and the ongoing war, which is nearing its 40th day. He underscored the necessity of prioritizing state authority over parallel structures and choosing legitimacy over arms, signaling a path forward for the country.

Abdel Massih further called for unity behind the presidency and stressed the importance of supporting the government, despite existing differences. He emphasized the protection of the army and security forces as a "red line," cautioning that any weakening of these institutions could lead to chaos and undermine the authority of the state.
