Akkar: Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani is set to visit Akkar Governorate tomorrow to officially mark the start of the 2026 agricultural season. The Ministry of Agriculture has extended an invitation to the public to join the minister in this significant event.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the visit is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Agricultural Department in Al-Abdeh, Akkar. The day's itinerary includes a tour of potato fields to observe the harvest, an inspection of greenhouses, and discussions with local farmers. Additionally, the visit will feature the signing of agricultural contracts, underscoring the government's commitment to supporting the agricultural sector in the region.
