Beirut: The area surrounding Beaufort Castle, also known as Qalaat al-Shqif, is reportedly experiencing intense airstrikes and heavy shelling. This escalation has put the historic site and the nearby regions under significant threat.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a drone strike has also been reported in the town of Aba, resulting in two injuries. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of civilians in the affected areas, as medical teams work to provide necessary aid to the wounded.

In a separate development, warplanes have launched an airstrike on the town of Hariss, situated in the Bint Jbeil district. The situation remains tense as residents and local authorities brace for further developments in the region.
