AKAR MEETS GERMANY’S STATE SECRETARY OF FEDERAL FOREIGN OFFICE

Vice Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of National Defense and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zeina Akar, on Monday welcomed Germany’s State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office, Miguel Berger, accompanied by German Ambassador to Lebanon, Andreas Kindl and First Secretary for Political Affairs at the Embassy, Martin Leeser.

The meeting broached the situation in Lebanon and the need to form a government. The meeting also featured a briefing about the humanitarian assistance and development projects funded by Germany in Lebanon.
