The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Tuesday, Mahmoud Al-Araji, one of the notables of Sinjar district.

The meeting witnessed, according to a statement by the Chancellery, a review of the general situation in the Sinjar district, and a discussion of ways to maintain the security and stability of the district, through the cooperation of the people with the security services.

During the meeting, the importance of the role of clerics and notables in strengthening societal cohesion was also emphasized, through a moderate national discourse.
