Beirut: Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmad Hajjar wrote on the “X” platform: “I salute the steadfastness of our people in the south, who embodied the will for life and democracy by completing the municipal and mayoral elections with full awareness and determination.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hajjar expressed congratulations for the liberation that has taken place and the liberation that will take place thanks to the efforts of the state and the solidarity of the Lebanese.
