Beirut: MP Ziad Hawat took to his “X” platform account today to express the urgency for a decisive action from the upcoming Cabinet session. He emphasized the necessity for a clear and direct decision regarding the handing over of illegal weapons, urging that this be executed according to a concrete timetable within a short period, as mandated by the Constitution and the Taif Agreement.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Hawat pointed out that addressing this issue is crucial for the establishment of the state. He warned that without such measures, Lebanon will continue to face severe challenges. He placed a significant responsibility on the President of the Republic and the Council of Ministers, urging them not to squander time or the future of Lebanon.
