Bkerki: Maronite Patriarch, Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, on Wednesday received a delegation from the border town of Alma al-Shaab at Bkerki, where residents stressed their forced displacement and determination to return. Al-Rahi expressed support for their cause, as delegates called for pressure to secure their return and rejected any alternative relocation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Rahi later chaired a meeting of Eastern Catholic patriarchs to discuss pastoral matters and preparations for the 2028 synod.
