Al-Sadr: Whoever claims that I am the Imam Mahdi is the enemy of God, the enemy of the Al-Sadr family and my enemy

The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, renewed his innocence of those who claim to be the Imam Mahdi.

Al-Sadr read from a written paper during his visit to the shrine of his father, the martyr al-Sadr, in this regard, that “the owners of the case are my enemies and there is no repentance for them, and that everyone who claims that I am the Imam Mahdi is the enemy of God, the enemy of the al-Sadr family and my enemy.”

He added: “The political war with the corrupt has turned into an ideological war. This is the den of the corrupt and dissidents, and they are supported by foreign hands.

Addressing his followers, he said: “If you accept me as a reformist leader who is not a mujtahid, an infallible leader, or an imam, then you are welcome, otherwise this is a separation between you and me until the Day of Judgment.”
