Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on Wednesday, on the occasion of the Iranian government gaining the confidence of the Shura Council and assuming its duties. In the message, al-Sudani expressed his wishes for success and good luck in performing the tasks, stressing the importance of the distinguished bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran, and continuing joint work for the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
