Aleppo International Airport Set to Resume Operations on March 18th

Tripoli: Aleppo International Airport will resume operations as of March 18th. The Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport announced the resumption of operations at Aleppo International Airport starting on the 18th of this month.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Authority added in a statement reported by SANA: “We confirm that Aleppo International Airport is now ready to receive flights after the completion of all technical and administrative preparations.”

The Authority noted that, in conjunction with the resumption of operations at Aleppo Airport, domestic and international flights will be received. It welcomed all airlines wishing to operate flights to and from Aleppo Airport.

The head of the Syrian Civil Aviation and Air Transport Authority, Ashhad al-Salibi, announced last February the reopening of Aleppo Airport and plans to resume operations at Latakia Airport at a later stage.
