Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday welcomed Head of the Iraqi Mission to Lebanon, Mr. Mohammad Redha Al-Husseini, to discuss enhancing Lebanese-Iraqi relations across multiple sectors. The meeting underscored Iraq’s commitment to bolstering ties between the two nations.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Mr. Al-Husseini conveyed that Iraq’s dedication to strengthening these relations is a direct result of President Aoun’s recent visit to Baghdad. During this visit, President Aoun engaged in discussions with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, which laid the groundwork for further collaboration and development in Lebanese-Iraqi relations.
