Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Monday to discuss the results of Salam’s recent visit to Cairo. During the visit, Salam engaged in talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and other senior Egyptian officials.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions between Aoun and Salam also focused on the general developments in Lebanon. Additionally, they reviewed the preparations for the Cabinet session that is scheduled for the upcoming Friday.
