Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday received General Security Director Major General Hassan Choucair, who briefed him on the results of his recent visit to Moscow. The discussions with Russian officials were conducted within the framework of ongoing Lebanese-Russian cooperation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting also reviewed the security situation in Lebanon and the work of the General Security Directorate across its various departments and units.
