Beirut: President of the Republic Joseph Aoun chaired a meeting dedicated to following up on current developments, in the presence of the Ministers of Defense, Interior, and Public Works and Transport, as well as the Army Commander, the Directors General of the Internal Security Forces, General Security, State Security and his deputy, the Director of Army Intelligence, the Head of the Information Branch in the ISF, the Head of the Information Affairs Office in General Security, and the President’s military and security advisor.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting was convened to assess the ongoing security situation and coordinate efforts among various governmental and security bodies. The gathered officials discussed strategies to address current challenges and enhance cooperation among the different security agencies. The presence of such a comprehensive list of high-ranking officials underscores the importance of the security issues currently being faced.
