Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday congratulated the Internal Security Forces on the occasion of their anniversary, commending officers and personnel for their role, alongside Lebanon's other military and security institutions, in protecting citizens, safeguarding the country, and upholding the rule of law.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Aoun stated that members of the Internal Security Forces had demonstrated resilience during some of Lebanon's most difficult periods. He described them and their fellow servicemen as a vital barrier against chaos and state collapse. He paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty, saying their sacrifice remains etched in Lebanon's memory.

The president reaffirmed his vision of a state governed by the rule of law and strong institutions. He called on Internal Security Forces personnel to continue serving with dedication, professionalism, and loyalty to the nation above all else.
