AOUN RECEIVES FROM SHEA WRITTEN PRESENTATION BY HOCHSTEIN ON SOUTHERN MARITIME BORDER DEMARCATION, CONSULTS WITH BERRI, MIKATI ON LEBANON’S RESPONSE

President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, met the US Ambassador to Beirut, Mrs. Dorothy Shea, and received a written offer from the American mediator in the indirect negotiations to demarcate the southern maritime border, Amos Hochstein, regarding the demarcation of borders within the path of negotiations.

Afterwards, the President made two phone calls to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and consulted with them on the matter and how to proceed to give the American mediator a Lebanese response as soon as possible.
