Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday received a written message from Brazilian President Luiz In¡cio Lula da Silva, delivered by Brazil’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcsio Costa. The letter extended an official invitation for Aoun to participate in the ‘Climate Summit’ scheduled to take place in Bel©m, in the Amazon region, on November 6-7. The summit will address key issues in ongoing global climate negotiations.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the summit represents an important platform for international leaders to discuss pressing environmental challenges and collaborative strategies to address climate change. The event is expected to gather prominent figures from various countries to deliberate on policies that could influence future climate action on a global scale.
