Baabda: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday received the credentials of six newly appointed ambassadors to Lebanon during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Baabda.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the ambassadors are Waheed Mubarak Sayyar from Bahrain, Aleksandra Bukovska-Makabi from Poland, Ester Lofrova from the Czech Republic, Dicky Komar from Indonesia, Nuala O’Brien from Ireland, and Dino Seidi from Guinea-Bissau.
The credential ceremony was attended by notable officials, including Foreign Minister Youssef Raji, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Hani Chmaytelli, Presidential Protocol Director Dr. Nabil Chedid, and Foreign Ministry Protocol Chief Ambassador Osama Khashab. The event underscored Lebanon’s ongoing commitment to fostering international relations.
The ambassadors conveyed greetings from their respective heads of state and expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. In response, President Aoun extended his well wishes and expressed hope for successful diplomatic missions in Lebanon.
