Beirut: Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal met with the Head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Teymour Jumblatt, and a delegation of lawmakers at his Yarzeh office on Thursday. The delegation included MPs Marwan Hamadeh, Akram Shehayeb, Wael Abou Faour, Faisal Al-Sayegh, and Hadi Abou El-Hessen. The meeting focused on the general situation in the country.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Army Commander also held a meeting with MP Elias Hankash. The discussions in both meetings reportedly centered on the prevailing national circumstances.
