Yarzeh: Lebanon's Army Commander General Rodolph Haykal on Monday received U.S. Gen. Joseph Clearfield, head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), and an accompanying delegation, at his Yarzeh office. Discussions focused on developments in the south, security arrangements related to the framework agreement, and the difficulties faced by the Lebanese Army in carrying out its missions, foremost among them the continued Israeli attacks, bulldozing, and destruction by the Israeli occupation.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, both sides emphasized the importance of supporting the Lebanese Army in light of the missions it is carrying out in the south and across various Lebanese regions. Gen. Haykal and Gen. Clearfield discussed the ongoing challenges and expressed a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation to bolster the Lebanese Army's capabilities in managing security and stability in the region.
