French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Fouche, on Monday toured Lebanon’s southern borders, accompanied by the Embassy’s Military Attache and a French military delegation, amidst strict security measures by the state security and army intelligence.
The field visit comes as part of Ambassador Fouche’s program to inspect the Blue Line between Lebanon and the occupied Palestine.
The field tour included Fatima Gateway in the town of Kfer Kela, Al Abbad hilltop post and UNIFIL Center in Al-Adaysa, Mais Al-Jabal and Bleda.
Ambassador Fouche highly esteemed the efforts exerted by the Lebanese army in protecting the southern borders and UNIFIL forces tasked with maintaining security and peace at all levels.
