MP Ayoub Hmayed on Monday maintained that the consolidation of the Lebanese army, people, and Resistance allowed Lebanon to defend its rights against any Israeli hostility, stressing that the enemy is unable to change the rules of the game.
“The Israeli enemy is now in a state of open hostility against Lebanon and the region (…) we are ready on all levels, with the consolidation and unity of our army, people, and Resistance, to defend our rights,” the Liberation and Development bloc member said.
“There are strong cards in the region, preventing the Israeli enemy from reaping any gain; this enemy is not in a place where it can change the rules of the game, especially that the Zionist community is terribly petrified, imploring mediation lest the situation would explode,” he concluded.
The lawmaker made these remarks during a memorial service in the southern border town of Ramiye.
