Aviation Authority Chief Aziz: Beirut Airport Operating Normally Despite Nearby Strike

Beirut: Head of Lebanon's Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammad Aziz, on Tuesday said Beirut airport is operating normally and that the road leading to it remains open. Aziz noted that the latest Israeli airstrike targeted the old airport road, not the main access route.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, earlier today, Israeli warplanes carried out a third strike on Beirut's southern suburbs, hitting the old airport road near Al-Ansar Stadium in Bourj el-Barajneh area.
