Beirut: Acting Director General of the General Security agency, Major General Elias Baissari, met Thursday with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, over regional affairs and developments. He later held talks with Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, over the latest developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meetings focused on the current situation in Lebanon and its implications for regional stability. The discussions with Hennis-Plasschaert were centered on the challenges facing Lebanon and the role of international cooperation in addressing these issues.
