Beirut:Free Patriotic Movement (FPM) leader MP Gebran Bassil met with Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy at his residence in Beirut on Monday. Dr. Tarek Sadek was also present at the meeting.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussions centered on political and security developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region. The talks took place in the context of ongoing challenges and their implications for Lebanon's domestic stability.

The meeting further explored the Arab League's role in supporting Lebanon, promoting stability, and safeguarding national sovereignty. Both parties emphasized the importance of intensifying Arab diplomatic efforts to assist Lebanon in navigating its current challenges.
