NNA – Head of the Free Patriotic Movement, MP Gebran Bassil, on Monday contacted Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, to whom he expressed full solidarity with the Palestinian people.

During the call, Bassil hoped that the current events in the occupied lands would pave the way for the liberation of Palestine and the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Within this context, Bassil also contacted Palestinian Foreign Minister, Riyad Al-Maliki.

On a different note, Bassil phone called Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Morocco, to extend greetings upon Fitr.
