Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri has adjourned the parliamentary legislative session until 6:00 pm. Speaker Berri announced the postponement of discussion of laws related to municipal elections to a specialized committee, emphasizing that there will be no postponement of the municipal elections.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, in response to parliamentary interventions that took on a sectarian note regarding the municipal elections, Berri stated that such behavior is unacceptable. He emphasized that the House of Parliament must be inclusive and that a member of parliament is a representative of the entire nation, as stipulated in the constitution.
