Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri has strongly condemned the recent explosions executed by Israeli occupation forces in southern Lebanon. The explosions, which targeted the vicinity of Beaufort Castle and towns such as Arnoun, Kfar Tebnit, Yohmor al-Shaqif, and Hadatha, follow a series of attacks on southern Lebanese towns and villages. Berri emphasized that the impact of these explosions, involving 700 tons of explosives and registering a magnitude of 3.8 on seismic monitors, was felt by residents across Lebanon, from the South to Mount Lebanon and the outskirts of Beirut.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri highlighted the need for national and international awareness of the destructive actions carried out by Israeli forces, which he claims are threatening humanity, heritage, culture, and infrastructure. He urged that the events must not be met with silence or acceptance, as they pose significant risks to the future.

Speaker Berri concluded his comments by reinforcing the need for action against these aggressive acts, stating, "What happened is condemnable and must not be met with silence or surrender to its realities."
