BERRI DISCUSSES SITUATION WITH AKAR, MEETS MPS AL-KHALIL AND KHAWEJA

House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday received at the Second Presidency in Ein El-Tineh, “Liberation and Development” bloc MPs Anwar Al-Khalil and Mohammed Khaweja, with talks touching on the general situation and legislative affairs.

Speaker Berri also met with Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of National Defense, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zeina Akar, with whom he discussed the latest political developments and the security situation.

Among Speaker Berri’s itinerant visitors for today had been Tawfic Sultan.
