Berri Engages in Talks with David Hale, UNIFIL’s Lazaro, and Telecommunications Minister

Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri engaged in a series of meetings at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, focusing on key issues affecting Lebanon. Berri first held discussions with David Hale, the former U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon and current director of the Lebanon file at the Middle East Institute. Their conversations centered around the current situation in Lebanon and the broader regional political developments.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Berri also met with Major General Aroldo Lazaro, the Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). Their talks reportedly addressed the ongoing field developments in south Lebanon, particularly within UNIFIL’s area of operation.

In a subsequent meeting, Berri conferred with Minister of Telecommunications Charles Hajj. The two discussed the general situation in Lebanon, with a specific focus on issues related to the telecommunications sector.
