Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri, on Tuesday, hosted several key figures at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. Among them was Director General of Customs, Gracia Azzi, who updated Berri on the directorate's activities across its departments.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also met with Grand Jaafari Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan. Their discussions revolved around general developments, political updates, and national matters.

Berri's schedule also included a meeting with a delegation from the Beirut Municipal Council, led by Ibrahim Zeidan, accompanied by "Development and Liberation" Bloc MP Mohammad Khawaja. The focus was on general affairs, particularly development issues and the council's upcoming work programs and projects.

Following the meeting, Beirut Municipal Council President Ibrahim Zeidan stated, "Our visit to Speaker Nabih Berri was aimed at briefing him on the Beirut Municipal Council's work plans and programs, as well as its achievements over the past year."
