Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri engaged in extensive discussions with prominent figures at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. Berri's engagements included a meeting with Prosecutor General for Cassation Judge Ahmad Rami Al Hajj, where the focus was on the general situation, with particular attention to judicial matters.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Berri also welcomed Beshara Al-Asmar, the Chairman of the National Social Security Fund Board, along with members of the newly appointed board. Their visit was a protocol meeting following their recent appointments, during which they briefed Berri on their work program for the current phase.
Additionally, Berri met with Hashem Haidar, President of the Council for the South, who was accompanied by a delegation from the council. The discussion centered on the general situation and the council's initiatives aimed at addressing the repercussions of Israeli aggression and supporting relief efforts for displaced residents.
