Beirut: Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, received former Iraqi Prime Minister, Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi, at Ain al-Tineh. Their discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, political developments, and bilateral relations between Lebanon and Iraq.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting highlighted the importance of maintaining strong ties between the two countries amidst the ongoing political developments. Both leaders exchanged views on current affairs affecting the region and emphasized the need for collaboration to address mutual challenges.
