NNA – House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Monday highlighted the necessity to admit that the current governmental crisis is absolutely domestic, urging all sides to make sacrifices for the sake of Lebanon away from narrow considerations.
“Parties must remove all personal obstacles preventing the formation of a new government, today before tomorrow,” said Berri in a word delivered in commemoration of the Resistance and Liberation Day.
“If the current issues remain unsolved, they will overthrow Lebanon,” he warned.
“We must admit that the governmental predicament is purely domestic,” he added, calling all sides to resort to the Constitution and to reach common ground.
Moreover, Berri underlined the obligation to free Lebanon from sectarianism, liberate the judicial system from political interventions, release depositors’ money, and fight corruption.
