Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Monday welcomed Turkish Ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Baris Ulusoy, who visited him in the company of TIKA — The Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Agency financing Turkish projects in Lebanon, which has been restoring several floors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Downtown Beirut.
In the wake of the meeting, Bou Habib and the Turkish delegation visited the floors being restored and inspected their progress.
For his part, Bou Habib thanked “Turkey, its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and TIKA for their efforts in the restoration of several floors of the current building of the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which can now accommodate a large number of employees.”
In turn, Ambassador Ulusoy said that “our visit aims to explore the progress that has been made regarding the restoration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ building with the support of the Turkish Coordination Agency.”
