Bou Saab, Sleem Tackle Ceasefire Agreement and Military Support.

Beirut: Deputy House Speaker, Elias Bou Saab, on Wednesday hosted Caretaker Defense Minister, Maurice Sleem, with whom he discussed developments related to the ceasefire agreement. Talks between both men reportedly emphasized the importance of supporting the Lebanese Armed Forces and rallying around them, given the critical role they play during this pivotal phase.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, both officials highlighted the necessity of strengthening the military institution to ensure stability and security in the country. They underscored the significance of bolstering military capabilities to uphold peace and maintain the order in Lebanon, especially during these challenging times when the national defense structure is crucial for the country’s integrity.

The meeting between Bou Saab and Sleem comes at a time when Lebanon is navigating complex regional dynamics. The emphasis on military support is seen as a proactive measure to deter any potential threats and ensure that the Lebanese Armed
