Brax Warns of Escalating Attacks on Fuel Stations, Urges Swift Security Action

Beirut: Head of the fuel station owners' syndicate, George Brax, on Tuesday warned of escalating assaults targeting stations, workers, and infrastructure, including armed thefts in broad daylight.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Brax cited a recent stabbing at a Medco station on Airport Road that left owner Hassan Khalil critically injured, with the suspect still at large despite clear evidence. The syndicate condemned the attack and called on Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar and security apparatuses to act swiftly, urging the judiciary to impose strict penalties.
