Beirut: Ambassador of Brazil, Tarcsio Costa, met with the Lebanese Minister of Health, Dr. Rakan Nassereddine. During their meeting, they explored avenues for cooperation and assistance between the two nations, focusing on a potential twinning partnership. This partnership aims to link the Jamil Haddad National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics (INTO) in Rio de Janeiro with its counterpart in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions also highlighted Brazil’s recent donation of over 3 million syringes, which are expected to arrive in Beirut soon. This donation signifies a significant step in strengthening the health sector cooperation between Brazil and Lebanon, as well as providing crucial support to Lebanon’s healthcare needs.
