Beirut: Director General of General Security, Hassan Choucair, on Friday received Slovak Ambassador to Lebanon Val©r Franko. The meeting reviewed the general situation in Lebanon and the wider region, with discussions focusing on current political and security developments and issues of mutual interest.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions between Choucair and Ambassador Franko included a comprehensive analysis of the political landscape in Lebanon, as well as security challenges facing the region. Both officials emphasized the importance of ongoing dialogue and cooperation in addressing these issues. The meeting underscored the commitment of Lebanon and Slovakia to strengthen their bilateral relations and to work collaboratively on matters of shared concern.
