CIVIL DEFENSE TEAMS AND FIREFIGHTERS RUSH FROM BEIRUT TO KOBAYAT TO HELP PUT OUT MASSIVE FIRE

A National News Agency correspondent stated that teams from the Civil Defense Directorate in Beirut and a group of firefighters headed to the northern town of Kobayat to help extinguish a massive fire that broke out in the area a few hours ago.

Instructions were given to all civil defense centers in Akkar to head to Kobayat to help put out the flames. Work is underway to secure water supply.
