DEMONSTRATORS GATHER AT SIDON’S ELIA INTERSECTION TO PROTEST THE DETERIORATING LIVING CONDITIONS

A number of protesters gathered at Elia intersection in Sidon this evening, without blocking the road, in rejection of the deteriorating living conditions and the rise in the dollar exchange rate, amid security measures by the Lebanese army.

Meanwhile, a number of protesters tried to block the eastern highway with waste containers.
