Beirut: The Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Grand Serail has released its latest report detailing the current situation of conflict and displacement. The report highlights significant human impact, with 1,497 individuals confirmed as martyrs and 4,639 people injured due to ongoing hostilities. Furthermore, the report notes that 138,532 people have been displaced and are currently residing in 678 shelters across the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the report also reveals that 36,125 families are now living in these shelters. The daily count of casualties continues to rise, with 36 new martyrs and 209 individuals wounded in recent hostilities. The total number of hostile incidents recorded has reached 5,806, reflecting the severity of the ongoing situation.
Efforts to manage the crisis continue, with the Disaster Risk Management Unit coordinating aid and resources for those affected. The report highlights the urgent need for continued support and resources to assist the displaced families and ensure their safety and well-being.
