Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday received a written letter from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, delivered by Egypt’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa. The letter included a formal invitation for President Aoun and the First Lady to attend the official opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled for July 3.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the invitation marks a significant diplomatic gesture, highlighting the cultural and historical ties between Egypt and Lebanon. The Grand Egyptian Museum is anticipated to be a major cultural landmark and its inauguration is expected to be attended by various international dignitaries.
