President of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Wednesday Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, in presence of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Intelligence chief Abbas Kamel.

“President al-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s full support for Hariri’s political course aiming at restoring stability in Lebanon and withstanding the current challenges, in addition to the government formation efforts,” spokesperson of the Egyptian presidency said.

He added that al-Sisi highlighted the importance of joining efforts to resolve any disagreement and to help Lebanon exit the current crisis.
