Egyptian Ambassador Tamim Khallaf Arrives in Beirut to Begin Duties

Beirut:Egypt's newly appointed Ambassador to Lebanon, Tamim Khallaf, arrived at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport to present his credentials and begin his diplomatic role in Lebanon.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Ambassador Khallaf was welcomed with an official diplomatic reception at the airport's VIP lounge. He was greeted by Ziad Koussa, Representative of the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and several ambassadors, including those from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Jordan, Palestine, and Sudan.

Also in attendance were Mahmoud Hamdi, Egyptian Embassy Chargé d'Affaires; Nada Majoul, Iraqi Embassy Chargé d'Affaires; Mohammad Titoum, Algerian Embassy Foreign Affairs Official; as well as advisers from the embassies of Oman and Tunisia.

In a gesture of support, the Yemeni Ambassador welcomed Khallaf on behalf of the Arab ambassadors and chargé d'affaires accredited to Lebanon, expressing wishes for his success in his new diplomatic duties.
