Beirut: During a visit to Abu Dhabi, Lebanese Energy Minister Joe Saddi held a working meeting with UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Al Jaber, who is also the Chairman of Masdar and CEO of ADNOC. The discussions centered around Lebanon’s energy reforms and the exploration of investment opportunities.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Minister Saddi assured participants of imminent regulatory improvements in Lebanon, including the establishment of an electricity regulatory authority. UAE energy officials expressed their readiness to contribute to long-term solutions and to support interim measures that can aid Lebanon’s energy sector.

The meeting was also attended by Lebanese Ambassador Fouad Dandan and senior Emirati energy executives, highlighting the collaboration between the two nations in addressing energy challenges and opportunities.
