FM ZARIF LEAVES FOR DAMASCUS TO MEET WITH SYRIAN OFFICIALS

NNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for the Syrian capital of Damascus on Wednesday morning to meet with the Syrian authorities and review the latest developments in the occupied territories.

Heading an Iranian delegation, Zarif traveled to Syria to meet with high-ranking Syrian government officials and exchange views on bilateral and regional issues, as well as to review the latest developments in the occupied territories and the Zionist regime’s encroachments on Muslim shrines.

During his visit, he will also meet with the leaders of Palestinian groups living in Syria and discuss the latest developments in occupied Palestine.–MEHR NEWS
